Jacob is a South African, a man of the wilderness. And he is a safari guide with great passion for the bush and the wildlife of Africa. Starting out as a jack-of-all-trades and farm manager, in 2006 he decided to pursue his special passion for the African bush and its animals, qualifying as a 'Game Ranger'. With over 18 years of experience, he is an expert in tracking animals and birdwatching. He speaks Afrikaans, English, several local languages, and even a bit of German. His sought-after safari tours in Kruger National Park and Lionspruit bring the diversity of the South African landscape closer. Jacob is not just a safari guide, but also a storyteller and conservationist, creating unforgettable experiences. Marloth Park's own wildlife reserve 'Lionspruit' is about 1,500 hectares in size. In 'Lionspruit', you can find lions, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos, among others. You can tour the reserve in your own car.

Guided morning hike for up to eight guests. Experienced (and armed) guides share their knowledge about fauna and flora and explain natural wonders. The hikes are relaxed and not too long.

Blyde River Canyon

Day trip on the famous 'Panorama Route'. Pick-up at the Bush Villa 'Greater Kruger View'. Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls, God's Window, and Drakensberg. Short stops at each location, with expert explanations.
Mozambique
With driver, approximately 10 hours
Pickup at the Bush Villa 'Greater Kruger View'. Drive to Maputo, the capital of Mozambique: colonial history and the city's atmosphere, local arts and crafts, and gastronomy. Fortress, historical statues, and cannons. Market hall with selected arts and crafts, African carvings, and jewelry.
Swaziland

Pick-up at the Bush Villa 'Greater Kruger View'. A day in the tiny African country of Swaziland. Local population, cultural traditions, expert explanations. Mountains and lowlands with diverse climate.
Adventure and Action
Horseback Safari
With guide, approximately 1 to 2 hours
Riding trails for beginners and advanced riders wind through the reserve and the native bush, passing by rocky outcrops, riverbeds, and exceptionally picturesque terrain. You'll likely spot antelopes, giraffes, impalas, zebras, waterbucks, wildebeests, and sometimes herds of wild elephants.
Tubing on the Sabie River
With instruction, approximately 5 hours
A wild ride on a one-man inflatable raft through the raging rapids of the Sabie River. The adventure starts in Sabie, where you'll be greeted by an experienced and friendly guide. You'll make your way through the 3 km river with 7 rapids and an optional 8-meter cliff jump.
Quad Biking
With instruction, 2 hours
An adrenaline-fueled adventure that is not difficult to master. Guided ride through the scenic reserve. The trails lead down to the Crocodile River and vary from easy to technically challenging, to delight both beginners and experienced riders.

Roads and trails for beginners and advanced riders wind through the reserve and native bush, passing by rocky outcrops, riverbeds, and exceptionally scenic terrain.
Microlight Safari
With a pilot, approximately 30 minutes of flight time
Spectacular experience with an extraordinary panoramic view of the African bush. A 30-minute flight to the Crocodile River with a good chance of seeing some of the Big Five during the flight. The flight along the river is an incredible experience.
Balloon Ride
1 to 2 hours after sunrise
